Blogtastic entrepreneur, interview, job application, self-starter 11:30 pm
So yesterday I had an interview for a part-time job while my career takes off. The interviewer asked me what I like to do. Of course I told her write! Anyways, she said that it showed I was an entrepreneur, creating my own employment. In other words? A self-starter. Employers like that! It shows that not only can they count on you to get work done, but also improve their business.
So, what is the point? Use your writing as a positive on applications! It may help you land a job.

But I can actually make a point!
Michael Phelps has beaten Mark Spitz record, he has won 8 gold medals in one Olympic games!
It just goes to show if you keep working hard your dreams will come true.

So I recently changed my voice mailbox message. People who called me used to say they were surprised that I was writing a novel, or ask me how far I was. I didn’t really give it much thought, but then I remembered that my message said:
“You’ve reached Genevieve’s cell, I’m in the middle of writing my novel, so leave a message.”
(name has been changed to protect my anonymity.)
I just thought I would share that with you, I have no idea why, but it is a laugh.
