Blogtastic biography, editing process, fantasy, first draft, must-read books, mystery, NaNoWriMo 4:13 pm
I’ve been doing a lot of nothing lately. NaNoWriMo was just so exhausting that now I can’t even think about writing. So I have decided to spend the time between the end of my first draft and the beginning of the editing process to catch up on my reading. It is absolutely essential that writers are also avid readers.
So what should you read? Anything really. Make sure your list includes all kinds of books: the ones you love and some of the stuff you wouldn’t normally read. So read some fantasy, mystery and/or biography.
I have a LOT of books on my list, so if you need any ideas just leave me a comment and I’ll give you some to get started. On the other hand, if you have any must-read books, tell me about them.
Blogtastic sliced bread, snow, wordpress 3:33 pm
Heck yes! There’s snow on wordpress!
Personally I think this is the most amazing thing ever. Its right up there with sliced bread.
NaNoWriMo Update come-from-behinders, congratulations, NaNoWriMo, NaNoWriMo Update, NaNoWriMo Winners, New York City Marathon 12:37 am
I did! After four years of failing miserably I actually did it. I wrote 50,000 words. Actually 50,109 words. So I am just waiting for the nearest party in my area, so I can go party the night away.
So how did you guys do? How many of you won? And by how much?
Even if you didn’t win I still want to know how you did so I can congratulate you, because you did something most people only dream about: you started a novel!
Anybody else dead tired? I feel like I ran the New York City Marathon and all I did was type for thirty days.
Anyways, congratulations winners. Double contratulations to the come-from-behinders.
