Who am I and why should you listen to me?
You shouldn’t. Or more importantly, I don’t care if you listen to me. This is going to be a blog where I can rant and rave and honestly I don’t think you will understand the insanity that will undoubtedly go on in this blog.
So now you are intrigued? Haha! The trap has been sprung!
My name is Genevieve Brown. OK, not really, that is my pen name. I am a writer. I write novels, plays, short stories, screenplays and musicals. I want to say that I have been published a gazillion times and that if you don’t know my name you have been living under a rock.
But I won’t because none of that is true.
Other than the writing aspect of my life I sing (well, I try anyways) and I act. I also attempt to paint.
This blog will be a sanity finder.
What does that mean? It means that whenever my life gets crazy I will come here and write and de-crazify my life.
But why?
The answer to that can be summed up in 14 words: I am not going to college. You are probably asking what about the rest of the words? Well that is it, all 14 words summed up in 6 words – in order of gender.
(If you understand that reference you get a brownie point.*)
Yup, I have decided to forgo higher education in search of my true calling. My reasoning is not that unreasonable. Almost every writer who’s interviews I have read talk about college being a waste of time and money. Many drop out, or wait it out cursing. So I have learned from their lessons and will just not go and save my self the thousands of dollars a year in tuition.

* So you don’t recognize the reference? It’s all right. That was a reference to the great Absurd writer Eugene Ionesco’s Jack or The Submission.

Well if all of the writers whom you wish to be like said that college was a waste of time then perhaps you should waste your time there too so that when you are interviewed you will be able to join the myriad of writers who have said the same thing. Cheers St- I mean Genevieve.
